Telangana continues to reinforce forest and wildlife conservation through afforestation drives, habitat restoration, and enhanced protection of biodiversity-rich ecosystems. The state is strengthening conservation efforts in protected areas such as Amrabad Tiger Reserve, Kawal Tiger Reserve, and Eturnagaram Wildlife Sanctuary while promoting eco-tourism and community participation.
Initiatives under the Telangana Ku Haritha Haram programme support large-scale tree plantation and ecological restoration. Measures to curb poaching, improve wildlife monitoring, and mitigate human–wildlife conflict are also being implemented, reflecting the state’s commitment to sustainable environmental management.
