Rajasthan continues to strengthen wildlife conservation and environmental protection through habitat restoration, afforestation, and biodiversity conservation initiatives. The state has intensified efforts to protect iconic species such as tigers in Ranthambore and Sariska, as well as the critically endangered Great Indian Bustard in the Thar Desert. Forest management programs, anti-poaching measures, and community participation are helping preserve ecological balance.
Alongside expanding green cover and promoting sustainable natural resource management, Rajasthan is advancing eco-tourism and environmental awareness to support long-term conservation and sustainable development through June 2026.
