Two tribal siblings discovered an 11.19-carat uncut diamond in Madhya Pradesh’s Panna district. Estimated to be worth around ₹30 lakh, the precious stone has been submitted to the government for auction, where it is expected to generate revenue through the official sale process.
The discovery highlights the continued economic significance of Panna’s diamond mining industry, which supports local livelihoods and contributes to the state’s mining economy. Such finds also reinforce the region’s reputation as one of India’s prominent diamond-producing areas.
