Manipur has continued to strengthen its disaster management framework through improved preparedness, early warning systems, and coordinated emergency response efforts. The state administration, along with the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), and local authorities, has focused on flood mitigation, landslide preparedness, and community awareness in vulnerable districts.
Infrastructure upgrades, relief distribution, and disaster-resilient planning have been prioritized to minimize the impact of natural calamities during the monsoon season. These initiatives aim to protect lives, enhance resilience, and ensure quicker recovery while promoting sustainable disaster risk reduction across the state.
