After an early-season rainfall deficit, monsoon conditions have strengthened across most districts of Jharkhand, bringing favorable weather for agriculture. Improved rainfall is expected to accelerate the sowing of paddy and other kharif crops while enhancing soil moisture and water availability.
The stronger monsoon is likely to increase demand for seeds, fertilizers, farm machinery, and other agricultural inputs. It is also expected to support rural businesses, strengthen agri-trade, improve farm productivity, and contribute positively to Jharkhand’s overall economy.
