Gujarat continues to expand its sports ecosystem through investments in modern infrastructure, athlete training, and grassroots development initiatives. The state is upgrading stadiums, sports complexes, and high-performance training centres while promoting participation in athletics, cricket, football, kabaddi, hockey, and other sporting disciplines. School and district-level competitions are helping identify emerging talent, with dedicated support for women athletes and para-sports.
Government initiatives, sports academies, and local organizations are working together to nurture sporting excellence, encourage youth participation, and enhance Gujarat’s presence in national and international competitions throughout 2026.
