The Rural Development Department of Sikkim has officially invited bids for the ambitious construction of roads under the PMGSY-IV (Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana) scheme.
This critical infrastructure initiative is set to significantly enhance rural connectivity, linking remote villages to essential services, markets, and urban hubs. By improving road networks, the state aims to foster greater economic opportunities, ensure better access to healthcare and education, and improve the overall quality of life for rural residents. This development marks a transformative step in strengthening Sikkim’s grassroots infrastructure and supporting long-term sustainable growth across the state’s challenging hilly terrain.
