Karnataka Police organizes blood donation camps regularly across districts. Officers donate blood voluntarily for accident victims and patients in need. ‘Raktha Dhaata’ program maintains donor database for emergency cases. Camps are held in stations, schools and public places with medical teams. One unit of blood can save three lives.
Police motto: “Donate blood, be a hero” Youth volunteers also join these drives. Last year 15,000 units collected by police teams. Blood shortage reduced in government hospitals. Karnataka Police believes service to humanity is service to God.
