Officers donate blood voluntarily for accident victims and patients. ‘Jeevan Rakshak’ program maintains donor database for emergency cases. Camps held in police stations, schools and public places with GMC doctors. One unit of blood can save three lives. Police motto: “Donate blood, be a hero”. Youth volunteers also join these drives.

Last year 6,500 units collected by police teams. Blood shortage reduced in Goa Medical College. Goa Police believes service to humanity is service to God.
