The Union Cabinet has approved the Kanpur–Kabrai access-controlled highway as part of infrastructure projects worth ₹14,115 crore. The new highway is expected to significantly improve regional connectivity and reduce travel time across key industrial corridors.
The project is also expected to enhance logistics efficiency, facilitate smoother movement of goods, support industrial and commercial growth, and strengthen Uttar Pradesh’s infrastructure-led economic development.
