As newsgames grow in popularity, media ethicists are raising alarms about the potential trivialization of serious journalism. The Bharat Media Association stresses the need for strict editorial boundaries. Gamified reporting must exclusively serve to enhance empathy and systemic understanding, never exploiting tragic events just to boost interactive engagement metrics.
