A major political and media storm has erupted following allegations that two female journalists from the 4PM News Network, Shaheen Khan and Nafisa, were brutally assaulted by Delhi Police inside the Saket police station. The reporters allege they were detained and beaten after questioning officials about a local “cycle scam” at a public event.
While the Delhi Police denied the assault claims and cited illegal parking as the reason for detention, videos of the journalists’ bruised bodies have gone viral, sparking widespread outrage and urgent demands for accountability from national press clubs and media unions.
