The rhythmic beats of the Delong dance filled the air today as the Adi community celebrated Etor Gidi, a traditional agro-based festival.

Marking the start of the farming season, the festivities centered around the Musup (community hall), where villagers gathered to perform rituals for a bountiful harvest.

Simultaneously, the Kongkura:yo Festival 2.0 concluded in Pasighat, emphasizing the theme “My Roots, My Identity.” These celebrations underscore Arunachal’s vibrant tribal heritage and the successful efforts of the youth and elders to preserve ancestral languages and indigenous crafts against modernization.
