Bhojpur-Buxar | The political landscape in Bihar shifted today as the opposition Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) secured a morale-boosting victory in the Bhojpur-Buxar Legislative Council byelection.
RJD candidate Sonu Rai defeated the JD(U)’s Kanhaiya Prasad by 340 votes. This marks the first electoral setback for the NDA since Samrat Choudhary assumed the Chief Minister’s office.
While the ruling alliance focuses on its recent cabinet expansion, this win signals a resurgence for Tejashwi Yadav’s party ahead of future state deliberations.
