Maharashtra is embracing a major digital transition. Official data released today confirms that over 11.14 lakh households successfully completed their online self-enumeration for the upcoming Census between May 1 and 15.

The state government’s dedicated web portal drove this massive community participation. Geographically, Pune district spearheaded the state’s digital turnout with over 1.53 lakh successful submissions, closely followed by Mumbai Suburban and Thane.

Field enumerators are now verifying the generated digital IDs as the offline verification phase continues statewide until June 14.
