In his first official visit to North Bengal since taking oath as Chief Minister on May 9, Suvendu Adhikari arrived at Bagdogra airport today to a massive reception.
Addressing reporters, he promised to erase the region’s historical “developmental dues” and announced that he will visit North Bengal every single month.
Additionally, the North Bengal Development Minister, Nisith Pramanik, will now operate from Siliguri one day a week. The CM is scheduled to hold a major administrative review meeting later today at the Uttarkanya secretariat.
