A major controversy recently erupted online regarding an alleged “conversion racket” at the TCS Nashik office. Mainstream media quicky built a sensational narrative filled with “undercover stings” and organized syndicates.
However, official police investigations completely cleared the air. Authorities confirmed there was no conversion ring or secret sting; instead, it was a serious case of individual workplace harassment, blackmail, and personal exploitation within a specific team.
This case exposes the power of media trials. While the law must strictly punish the abusers, we must stop letting selective outrage hijack real issues of women’s safety.
