Uttarakhand Approves ₹213 Crore for Key Projects

The Uttarakhand government has approved massive financial sanctions totaling ₹213 crore to significantly upgrade state infrastructure. A major portion of the allocation includes ₹35 crore dedicated to robust police arrangements for the upcoming 2027 Kumbh Mela.

To address civic needs, ₹55.22 crore has been sanctioned for the Chenagad drinking water scheme in Rudraprayag. Additionally, substantial funding has been cleared for a new three-lane elevated corridor in Dehradun to ease urban traffic congestion, marking a major step forward in the state’s development blueprint.
