Goa is strengthening its water resource management strategy to ensure sustainable access to clean water amid growing urbanization and changing climate conditions. The state has been focusing on improving water supply infrastructure, promoting rainwater harvesting, rejuvenating rivers and water bodies, and reducing water wastage through modern monitoring systems.
Efforts are also underway to enhance groundwater conservation and support community-based water management practices. These initiatives aim to improve water security for households, agriculture, and industries while protecting the state’s ecological balance and ensuring long-term sustainability for future generations.
