Residents of North Goa have renewed their demand for immediate safety improvements at the accident-prone Marcel Junction, citing repeated road accidents and increasing risks for motorists and pedestrians. They are urging authorities to take swift action to make the junction safer for daily commuters.
The proposed measures include improved traffic management, clearer road signage, speed-calming features such as speed breakers and rumble strips, better street lighting, and road engineering upgrades. Residents believe these changes will help reduce recurring accidents, improve traffic flow, and enhance overall road safety in the area.
