In a decisive move to ensure infrastructure stability, the Bihar government has granted administrative sanction of ₹47.76 crore for a comprehensive bridge safety audit. This dedicated budget will fund an independent, third-party evaluation of existing bridges across the state to proactively identify structural vulnerabilities.
Faced with growing concerns over public safety and infrastructure durability, the state aims to systematically prevent structural failures before they occur. This initiative marks a crucial step toward transparent, data-driven governance, safeguarding vital transit corridors, and restoring public confidence in regional engineering and safety standards.
