Army Truck Plunges Into Dirang Gorge; One Soldier Dead|

A tragic accident occurred in the West Kameng district when an Indian Army truck veered off National Highway-13 and plunged down a steep hillside. The vehicle, belonging to the 18 Sikh Light Infantry, was carrying three personnel at the time of the crash.

Emergency medical teams rushed the victims to the Dirang Community Health Centre, where one soldier was unfortunately declared dead upon arrival.The remaining two soldiers survived the terrifying fall and are currently undergoing medical treatment for their injuries as authorities investigate the cause of the crash.
