Five municipal corporations in Haryana, including Gurugram, will modernize 684 kilometres of ageing sewer networks under a major infrastructure initiative. The project aims to improve sanitation services, upgrade urban infrastructure, and enhance the efficiency of wastewater management systems.
The sewer network upgrade is expected to support urban development, generate business opportunities in construction and public utilities, and improve public health. Enhanced infrastructure will strengthen civic services, encourage investment, and contribute to sustainable urban growth across the participating cities.
