The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert for heavy rainfall and thunderstorms across several districts of Jharkhand over the next three days. While the weather may temporarily disrupt transportation, logistics, and supply chains, it is expected to improve water availability across the state.
The increased rainfall is likely to support kharif sowing, enhance soil moisture, and strengthen agricultural productivity. Better monsoon conditions are also expected to boost demand for farm inputs, support rural businesses, and contribute positively to Jharkhand’s agricultural economy.
