India’s Goods and Services Tax (GST) collections increased 13.9% year-on-year to ₹1.94 lakh crore in June, reflecting strong economic activity, improved tax compliance, and healthy business performance across the country. The rise in tax revenue is expected to strengthen government finances and support continued investment in public infrastructure and development projects.

For Arunachal Pradesh, higher government revenues could lead to increased spending on roads, connectivity, power infrastructure, healthcare, and rural development. These investments are expected to improve the business environment, attract private investment, and support the state’s long-term economic growth.
