As of July 1, 2026, schools across Meghalaya that completed their mid-term examinations by June 30 have officially commenced their mid-term break.
This brief respite, mandated by the state’s Education Department, provides students with a well-deserved opportunity to recharge before the next academic phase. Regular classroom activities are scheduled to resume on July 6, 2026. This period serves as an essential transition for both students and faculty, ensuring everyone returns refreshed and prepared for the upcoming curriculum. Families are encouraged to use this time to focus on student well-being and prepare for the academic requirements ahead.
