Rajasthan continues to reinforce its position as India’s leading mineral-producing state through sustainable mining practices, policy reforms, and increased investment in the sector. The state remains a major producer of limestone, marble, granite, gypsum, zinc, copper, and sandstone, supporting industries ranging from construction to manufacturing. Authorities are also strengthening measures against illegal mining by deploying digital monitoring systems, GPS-based tracking, and stricter enforcement.
Alongside mineral exploration and value-added processing, Rajasthan is promoting environmental safeguards, worker safety, and responsible resource management to ensure balanced economic growth and long-term development.
