Kerala continues to enhance forest conservation and wildlife protection in 2026 through sustainable ecosystem management, biodiversity conservation, and strengthened habitat protection measures. The state is focusing on preserving its rich forest resources, improving wildlife corridors, and reducing human–wildlife conflict through scientific management and community participation.
Initiatives also promote afforestation, anti-poaching efforts, eco-restoration, and the conservation of protected areas.
