AIMIM protests against demolition of Mosque-e-Mohammadia wall. MLA Mohd Mubeen arrested
AIMIM MLA Bahadurpura Mohammed Mubeen has alleged that officials, who arrived with a heavy police force in Chintalmet, Rajendranagar, tried to demolish the boundary wall of the land belonging to Masjid-e-Mohammadia. According to MLA Mubeen, this action was against the pre-arranged agreement in which it was agreed to take any step only after a joint survey was conducted by the Waqf Board and the Endowments Department.
To stop this unconstitutional action, AIMIM leaders and workers arrived at the scene and staged a violent protest. Police then detained MLA Mubeen and his companions to prevent the violence and subsequently released them. MLA Mubeen demanded that a fair joint survey be completed before any action is taken. He also appealed to the public to maintain peace and order and stated that the matter would be pursued through legal means.
