Rajasthan has achieved a major technological milestone as its first semiconductor cluster was officially inaugurated in Bhiwadi, Alwar district.
Launched jointly by Union IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, the facility is spearheaded by Sahasra Semiconductors.
Specializing in advanced assembly, testing, and packaging (ATMP), over 60% of its initial production is already slated for export to global markets, including the US and Germany. Backed by the state’s new policy, the hub is set to generate thousands of tech jobs.
