Tragedy struck the Char Dham pilgrimage in Uttarakhand yesterday with multiple fatal road accidents. A tempo traveler carrying pilgrims from Ghaziabad overturned on the Badrinath National Highway near Joshimath.
Tragically, a female passenger lost her life in the crash, and several other passengers sustained serious injuries, requiring emergency hospitalization. This incident follows a recent harrowing event near Devprayag, where an Innova SUV lost control and plunged deep into the fast-flowing Alaknanda River. Rescue operations are still underway at the river site, searching for missing occupants.
