Tahsin Mohammed Jamshid, a 19-year-old winger from Thalassery, Kerala, has made history by becoming the first Malayali to be selected for a FIFA World Cup squad. He was named in Qatar’s official 26-man team for the 2026 World Cup, which will be held in the US, Canada, and Mexico. Born in Doha to Malayali parents, Tahsin developed his skills at the Aspire Academy.
