Educational institutions across the Puducherry and Karaikal regions officially buzzed back to life yesterday as they reopened their gates following the lengthy summer vacation. The reopening applies to a wide range of students, covering Kindergarten through Classes 1 to 10.
To mark the immediate commencement of the new academic session on a positive note, the School Education Department made special logistical arrangements. Consequently, free textbooks and notebooks were successfully distributed to the children on their very first day back, facilitating a smooth transition into their studies.
