The Andaman & Nicobar Administration has issued a marine safety advisory warning of high waves, strong winds, and rough sea conditions across the islands due to intensified southwest monsoon activity. The advisory has been issued to ensure the safety of people engaged in marine and coastal activities, with authorities continuously monitoring weather and sea conditions.
Fishermen, ferry operators, and coastal residents have been advised to exercise extreme caution and regularly follow official weather bulletins before venturing into the sea. Travelers are also encouraged to check ferry schedules in advance, as services may be affected by adverse weather. The administration has urged everyone to comply with safety guidelines to minimize risks and ensure public safety during the active monsoon period.
