To mark the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, the Capital Police of Itanagar successfully organized a massive 5 km anti-drug marathon at IG Park. The highly energetic event drew over 600 enthusiastic participants, including hundreds of students, local youth, and fitness advocates, all united under the mission of building a drug-free state.
Emphasizing the gravity of the issue, senior police officials delivered powerful addresses labeling substance abuse a “silent terrorist.” They urged the community to maintain collective public vigilance to protect future generations from the grip of addiction.
