Arunachal Pradesh continues to advance women’s empowerment through initiatives focused on education, entrepreneurship, financial inclusion, healthcare, and skill development. The state is supporting women-led self-help groups (SHGs), promoting livelihood opportunities, and expanding access to government welfare schemes.
Efforts are also being made to improve maternal healthcare, encourage girls’ education, and strengthen women’s participation in local governance and community development. Through awareness campaigns, capacity-building programs, and targeted support for women entrepreneurs, Arunachal Pradesh aims to enhance gender equality, economic independence, and inclusive development across both urban and rural communities.
