Bihar continues to strengthen its tourism sector by promoting its rich cultural, historical, and spiritual heritage. The state is enhancing infrastructure and visitor facilities at globally significant destinations such as Bodh Gaya, Nalanda, Rajgir, Vaishali, and Patna Sahib.
Efforts are also focused on preserving archaeological monuments, expanding Buddhist and Jain tourism circuits, and showcasing Bihar’s traditional art, festivals, and cultural legacy. Through improved connectivity, heritage conservation, and tourism promotion, Bihar aims to attract more domestic and international visitors while generating employment and supporting sustainable economic development.
