Bihar continues to expand women and child welfare initiatives through programs focused on nutrition, healthcare, education, financial inclusion, and social protection. The state is strengthening maternal and child health services, supporting self-help groups (SHGs), promoting girls’ education, and improving access to welfare schemes for vulnerable families.
Efforts are also being made to enhance child nutrition through Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS), encourage women’s entrepreneurship, and create safer environments for women and children. These initiatives aim to improve quality of life, promote gender equality, and foster inclusive and sustainable social development across Bihar.
