Karnataka continues to advance women’s empowerment and social welfare in 2026 by expanding access to education, healthcare, financial inclusion, and livelihood opportunities. The state is promoting self-help groups, entrepreneurship, skill development, and welfare programs aimed at improving the socio-economic status of women.
Efforts are also focused on enhancing safety, strengthening social security measures, and increasing participation of women in leadership and community development. These initiatives aim to foster gender equality, empower women economically, and support inclusive, sustainable development across both urban and rural regions of Karnataka.
