Public health authorities across major Indian tech hubs, including Bengaluru, have launched aggressive inspection drives targeting quick-commerce fulfillment centers and cloud kitchens. During these unannounced audits, food safety officials uncovered widespread non-compliance regarding hygiene standards, improper food storage, and clear violations of labeling regulations, including missing expiration dates. In response, several high-volume warehouses and dark stores were immediately sealed to protect consumer health. Officials confirmed that stringent legal notices have been served to operators, emphasizing that strict food safety protocols will be enforced across all rapid delivery platforms operating nationwide.
