Punjab

The Punjab Police is the law enforcement agency responsible for maintaining law and order in the province of Punjab, Pakistan. It was established in 1861 and has since grown to become one of the largest police forces in the country, with over 180,000 personnel.

The Punjab Police is headed by an Inspector General who is appointed by the provincial government. The force is divided into several branches including investigation, traffic, and special operations.
