Connectivity between Karnataka and Telangana received a massive push today as progress on the four-laning of National Highway-167 was reviewed. The project, part of the Hyderabad-Panaji Economic Corridor, is set to reduce travel time between the two states by nearly 90 minutes.
This highway is a cornerstone of the 2026 infrastructure plan, aimed at lowering logistics costs and boosting industrial development in North Karnataka. Officials noted that the smoother transit will benefit thousands of commuters and facilitate the movement of goods to the upcoming Zaheerabad Industrial Area.
