A major political storm has erupted in Bengaluru following a massive convention organized by the Federation of Karnataka Muslim Organisations at Town Hall. Representatives from 48 outfits presented a strict charter of demands to the Congress-led state government.
Key demands include a dedicated separate budgetary allocation, increasing reservation quotas from 4% to 8%, and the immediate repeal of anti-conversion and cattle slaughter laws. The federation accused the ruling party of practicing “soft Hindutva” and failing to deliver on its 2023 pre-election promises.
