Bengaluru recently became the focal point of international space diplomacy as it hosted the BRICS Heads of Space Agencies (HOSA) meeting from June 23–24, 2026.
Supported by ISRO and the Department of Space, this high-level summit convened leaders from member nations to foster deeper collaboration in critical areas, including space exploration, advanced satellite technology, and robust data sharing. By aligning their collective expertise and resources, the BRICS nations aim to tackle complex celestial challenges and enhance shared technological capabilities, marking a significant step forward in international cooperation for the peaceful and innovative use of outer space.
