The Telangana State Civil Supplies Department has launched “Mission K-100,” a 100-day strategic roadmap to streamline procurement operations for the Kharif 2026-27 season. Led by Commissioner Sri M. Stephen Raveendra, the initiative aims to resolve logistical and financial bottlenecks by coordinating closely with the FCI to secure storage and recover pending dues.
The mission rests on five pillars: accelerating rice delivery, monetizing inventory, strengthening finances, modernizing procurement centers through mechanization, and optimizing transportation with real-time tracking. This sweeping overhaul seeks to clear existing stocks and ensure efficient infrastructure before the new harvest arrives, ultimately enhancing coordination across all departmental levels.
