Ladakh continues to strengthen its tourism sector by promoting its unique Himalayan landscapes, Buddhist heritage, and adventure tourism destinations. The Union Territory is enhancing visitor infrastructure at Leh, Nubra Valley, Pangong Lake, Zanskar, and other key attractions while supporting eco-tourism and sustainable travel practices.
Efforts are also focused on preserving ancient monasteries, traditional architecture, local arts, and vibrant cultural festivals. Improved connectivity, heritage conservation, and responsible tourism initiatives aim to attract more domestic and international visitors, generate employment, support local communities, and contribute to Ladakh’s long-term economic development.
