Alwal, October 6: Alwal Police registered a case against former BJYM National Treasurer P.M. Sai Prasad @ Team Sai and four others following a complaint by the Telangana State BJP SC Morcha Social Media Convener. In her complaint, she alleged that she was harassed and threatened, subjected to caste-based abuse and derogatory remarks, and warned that her political career would be damaged. A case was registered under Crime No. 989/2026.
The complainant stated that she had been associated with Sai Prasad and his team for several years and discontinued the association on April 1, 2026. She alleged that thereafter, she was pressured to continue communicating with them against her wishes and was threatened with harm to her husband and children. She also alleged that she was subjected to caste-based and sexually derogatory language.
She alleged in her complaint that on December 24, 2024, April 1, 2025, and August 9, 2025, Sai Prasad called her to his residence and pressured her to enter the bedroom. When she refused, he allegedly threatened to harm her husband and family members.
On April 1, 2026, Sai Prasad allegedly called her to the BJP office in Nampally, where she went along with her husband and stayed from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. She alleged that Sai Prasad, along with Paka Shiva, Rahul, John and Aditya, abused and humiliated her in the presence of her husband and others.
Sai Prasad allegedly told her, “I wanted to bring you up politically, but you put my photographs in a small size,” according to the complaint. She further alleged that she was subsequently threatened with damage to her political career and reputation.
The complainant alleged that she was threatened with the creation and circulation of obscene fake or AI-generated photos and videos. She also stated that Sai Prasad claimed that he had hacked her mobile phone and knew about her conversations. Despite blocking his numbers, she alleged that Paka Shiva, Rahul, Aditya and John continued to contact her through other means.
She alleged that on August 21, 2026, at around 11:00 p.m. and again at 11:30 p.m., John, Paka Shiva and Rahul came to her residence and pressured her to speak to Sai Prasad. She alleged that they used caste-based abusive language and threatened that Sai Prasad would not leave her and her husband alone, that her political future would be damaged, and that her children and family would be left without a future.
She stated that subsequent attempts to contact her through phone calls and other means continued during the night, causing her fear and apprehension.
Based on the allegations in the complaint, Alwal Inspector A. Prashanth registered the case and took up the investigation. The case was registered under Sections 75, 78, 79, 352, 351(3), and 61 read with 3(5) of the BNS, Sections 66C and 66E of the IT Act, and Sections 3(1)(r), 3(1)(s), and 3(1)(w)(ii) of the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. The allegations made in the complaint are subject to verification during the investigation.
