Reddy’s decision stems from intense dissatisfaction over recent cabinet portfolio allocations, specifically after missing out on the coveted Bengaluru City Development ministry.
Seizing the moment, opposition leaders from the BJP have heavily criticized Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar’s administration. The opposition highlighted not only the immediate internal rift but also pointed out the complete lack of female representation within the newly minted 13-member cabinet.
