The 14-day grand exposition of the sacred Piprahwa relics of Lord Buddha concluded in Ladakh, drawing a massive crowd of over 1.18 lakh devotees.

On Friday, the relics were given a solemn, emotional farewell at the Leh Airport with a ceremonial guard of honour attended by Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena. The historic fortnight transformed the Union Territory into a vibrant hub of prayer, peace, and spiritual awakening.

Residents, beautifully dressed in traditional attire, gathered to pay their final respects, marking one of Ladakh’s largest spiritual congregations.
